Developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates, Pilates is a system that improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the entire body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a long, strong core, and improving coordination and balance.
CST is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the function of the craniosacral system-comprised of membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord. Soft touch is used to release restrictions in the craniosacral system
With over ten years of professional teaching experience, we offer only the highest quality instruction to our community. We have studied under Master Teachers in the modalities of GYROTONICⓇ Yoga, and Pilates, and have applied these methods to our professional dance careers. As passionate teachers and lifelong students, we are curious about where classical methods like Yoga, Pilates, and GYROTONICⓇ intersect and where they stand apart. We aim to carefully integrate our training and offer a blend that emphasizes experiential anatomy, creative imagery, and rhythmic breathing and movement.
